Job Description : Join our team today! Sunrise Food Service, Inc is hiring a Dispatch/Logistics associate starting at $23.50 per hour!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Enforces all company safety policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe logistics operations.
Helps manage day-to-day operations.
Assists resolving any issues regarding Bills of Lading, freight disputes, and credits.
Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
Schedule inbound appointments (Future project, appointment software)
Create driver’s monthly schedule
Arrange to send special deliveries
Answer sales team phone calls with possible routes or etas inquiries
Answer drivers phone calls with possible questions or concerns throughout their routes
Learn the proper procedures to process credit memos and returns
Arrange roadside assistance when fleet breakdowns occur
Schedule fleet for preventive maintenance
Prepare and assigns routes
Send drivers start time daily
Other duties as assigned and modifiable job responsibilities.

Preferences:

Bilingual-English/ Spanish preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years experience in a Logistics Coordinator or comparable position.
High school diploma/GED required.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
