Position : Escrow Officer Assistant

Job Description : Escrow assistant that will begin on a part time trial period prior to converting to full time.
Positing will be responsible for helping with the following:

Provide administrative support to Escrow officer including inputting figures, balancing with lender, handling disbursement of funds, money transfers, preparing documentation, closing transactions, advising customers and handling funds.
Assist with pre-closing preparation and/or post-closing tasks
Ensure all parties, including buyers, sellers, agents, lenders or borrowers receive copies of final settlement statements prior to closing, after receiving lender’s final approval.
Reviewing the real estate purchase contract, making sure it is complete and requesting any missing information; performing a preliminary audit and determining or obtaining any necessary items to clear a title; preparing estimated closing statements for officer to review.
Maintaining the files, recording the appropriate documentation, and sending checks once the closing is complete and transmit documents to the lender.
Establishing and maintain relationships with agents
Maintain a positive attitude
Maintain transparent communication with Escrow Manager.
Additional duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two – four years of escrow processing experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and RBJ
Strong written and verbal skills to clearly keep agents, buyers, sellers and all other parties up to date with the process
Possess strong customer service skills, strong organizational skills and time management skills
Experience working with paperless escrow processes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
