Job Description : Facilities DirectorCoos Bay, OR$140,000-160,000+ Full Benefits + Bonus + Paid RelocationResponsibilities:Job Description:Provides leadership, direction and administrative oversight for the operations of Facilities Management, Environmental/Laundry/Linen Services, Security and Biomedical ServicesSKILLS AND ABILITIESExercises good judgment, demonstrates effective critical thinking skillsFlexible, able to prioritize and address multiple responsibilities concurrentlyWorks effectively under stress and frequently changing job requirements/situationsDemonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the positionDemonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipmentExhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the publicExhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrates blue print reading skills and knowledge of applicable building and regulatory codesDemonstrates knowledge of Environmental Services, Linen Services , and Grounds Services processes and functionsMaintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job locationEDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREESProof of college level classes in related field leading to a two (2) year or four (4) year degreeCurrent Oregon driver’s licenseMasters level degree in a related field preferredEXPERIENCEMinimum of five (5) years’ experience in a hospital or related industry as a maintenance engineer or in a building or construction trade.At least two (2) years’ documented experience in a supervisory or lead position in a health care facility or maintenance fieldExperience with refrigeration, nurse call systems, fire alarm systems, elevators, pumps and motors, boilers, generators, chillers and HVAC and other various hospital equipment and electrical equipmentWorking knowledge of but not limited to the following: generators, boilers, pumps, motors, elevators, conveyors, compressors, HVAC, refrigeration, hydraulics, firefighting equipment, various power tools (drills, grinders, sanders, solder, etc.), basic carpentry tools, various hand tools associated with building and electrical maintenance, hand held radios, lockout tagout devices, welding equipment, electrical meters and other equipment associated with building maintenanceJob Type: Full-timePay: $140,000.00 – $160,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Coos Bay, OR: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):Tell me about yourself.
