Job Description : We are expanding our production facility in Lockwood, CA and we are looking for some workers to help.Will start as part time but could become full time if interesting later in the year
Job duties:Help with field prep for planting.Drip tape irrigation setup and maintenanceUse of traditional pesticides and herbicidesField monitoring
Ideal Candidate:Has prior farming experience or plant science education, preferred not requiredUnderstands this job is physically intensive. Must be comfortable on your feet most of the dayAny tractor and combine operation experience is a bonus.Comfortable working in a variety of adverse weather conditions (heat/cold/wind/rain)Someone punctual, organized and efficient
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:Work will mostly take place outside in the field. You are welcome to were a mask
Ability to commute/relocate:
Lockwood, CA 93932: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
Farming: 1 year (Preferred)
