Position : Jr. Financial Analyst

Job Description : Job Duties:

Process invoices for payment in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Respond to inquiries related procurement and A/P activities
Work with Sr. Procurement Staff to ensure all required executed documents are uploaded in contract management system document repository
Onboard supplier into external procurement portal
Maintain database and update weekly reports
Research PO exceptions and work with Accounts Payable to resolve payment issues
Audit reports, records and other data for accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures
Assist in creating and updating procurement policies and procedures
Assist in planning training and creating training materials

Requirements:
-3+ years’ experience in procurement, finance, or general business administration
– Bachelor Degree in business, finance or related fields, or an equivalent combination of experience and education Technical knowledge and skills required
– – Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles –
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software (PeopleSoft a plus)
– Excellent time management skills, results oriented and accepts accountability for work quality
– High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
– High proficiency in MS Office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:

8 hour shift

Torrance, CA 90503: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

Accounting: 1 year (Required)
Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
