Job Description : Junior Property Manager | Silicon Valley, CA
Our client has an immediate need for a skilled Jr. Property Manager; the hired candidate will report directly to the Estate Manager and principals. We’ve known our client’s Estate Manager for many years; he is professional, kind, and thoughtful; this will be a fantastic opportunity for the person who is selected for the role.
The target candidate for this role will be willing to pitch in anywhere to help the team achieve the goal of simplifying the lives of the principals. No job too small!
Most days will be on-site with occasional remote work possible.

Full-time
Monday-Friday: Must be flexible to work occasional weekend days (for events or emergencies)
9:00 am-5:30 pm: Must be flexible to come earlier or stay later occasionally
Live-out
Start Date: ASAP
Local candidates will be considered for this role

Typical Duties:

Assist in day to day running of homes
Assist owners with personal needs
Maintain confidentiality and support owners as needed
Help to manage on-site meetings and vendors
Create a welcoming environment for owners and guests
Assist with bedding/linens/laundry as needed
Walk properties daily looking for signs of water/sun damage and other possible surprises, be the “eyes and ears” for the principals
Drive to Palo Alto, Woodside, San Francisco, and Half Moon Bay as needed
Go through the interior of each home, looking closely at the condition of each room
Work with housekeepers, landscapers, ranch manager as needed
Complete house checks and communicate any concerns to Estate Manager (EM)
Go through property inventories, making sure stock of all items is up to date
Work through Property Maintenance Calendar with EM
Work with EM to determine needs and fixes and when to call the contractor
Become familiar with house manuals and how each home is run
Update house manuals for all properties
Learn other homes and back up EM when needed
Work independently and collaborate with EM and others as needed

Requirements:

Some family office/private property experience preferred
Organized, with no task too big or too small mindset
Flexible, open to occasionally work off hours if ever needed
Some knowledge of security systems, AV, HVAC systems would be helpful
Computer literate
Spanish speaking is a plus!
The ability to lift 20lbs would be helpful
This job will require standing/bending/walking /lifting, in addition to office work
The candidate must pass a rigorous background check
This job will require driving so having a car and good driving record is imparative
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID
Must be a non-smoker/vaper!
Should love dogs!

Compensation:

100-125K | DOE

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
