Job Description : A 30- bed facility with inpatient and outpatient services is seeking a Director of Laboratory. This facility has been serving the San Bernardino County for 55 years and is proud of there many accomplishments. This hospital is a designated baby friendly facility and has been awarded for their excellence in chest pain care. At this organization they continually are striving to develop new technologies to consistently improve patient care and serve the community.
The Director of Laboratory is responsible for ensuring laboratory operations are in compliance with standards, and regulations and identify areas to improve the department. The Laboratory Director will provide the department with hands-on guidance, and train the staff on new protocols and standards. The Director of Laboratory collaborates with local health care professionals to keep the department up to date and bring new ideas and advancements to the facility. The Laboratory Director will ensure that staff is achieving excellent patient care while delivering quick and accurate results for the facility. The ideal candidate will have years of experience leading a laboratory department, Bachelor’s prepared and eager to join the hospitals team.
