Provident Savings Bank, F.S.B. is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Loan Compliance Specialist. Reporting to the Compliance Officer, this position is responsible for completion of department or functional self-assessments to ensure the Bank is in compliance with various consumer regulatory requirements and laws affecting the Bank. Emphasis will be in lending, including Fair Lending, CRA, TILA, RESPA, HMDA, and Flood.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position working onsite in Riverside, CA.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Responsible for completing assigned regulatory self-assessments, which includes recommending appropriate corrective action.
Provide compliance support to staff in the Mortgage Lending and Commercial Lending divisions.
Research and respond to compliance inquiries regarding lending -related Acts and Regulations.
Assist in the development and review of policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with new and/or revised laws and regulations relating to lending.
Monitors lending compliance environment and tracks changes to compliance laws and regulations to ensure systems, products, services and disclosures are completed, revised, or implemented by the effective dates.
Creating and/or updating regulatory training materials for new and existing employees. Assist with in-house, classroom-style training.

This position requires the following skills and/or experience:

Minimum three years experience mortgage or commercial lending operations at a processor level, preferably with a financial institution
Minimum one year applying lending-related regulations in compliance or quality assurance, preferred
