Job Description : Be a part of the nationwide law enforcement initiative that removes the tools of crime from criminal organizations, depriving wrongdoers of proceeds from their crime and impacting the infrastructure of criminal enterprises.
Focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security, FSA Federal, a rapidly growing joint venture owned by trusted solutions providers SAIC and Amentum, has a vacancy for a Mail Clerk. In this role, you will be supporting the overall mission of the USCIS. The Mail Clerk position pays $15.43/hr.
Responsibilities:
The Mail Clerk supports the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service Regional Office by performing the following tasks

Deliver messages, documents packages, and mail to various business concerns or governmental agencies
Sort or open incoming and outgoing mail
Obtain receipts for articles delivered and keep log of items received and delivered
Deliver items to offices and departments within the establishment
Perform miscellaneous errands, such as carrying mail within the establishment
All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Experience:

High School Diploma
1 year of related experience
Some knowledge of Microsoft & Excel applications is necessary
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services

Physical Requirements:

There is a physical requirement to lift 45 lbs. or more consistently.
Mobility is frequent throughout the file room by moving on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for moving files to and from the worksite. The shelving of files also creates the need to be able to lift boxes overhead.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
