We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing team! This position is responsible for processing the bi-weekly and bonus payroll for our 400+ employees and will report to the Accounting Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP for 400+ employees.
Process off-cycle payroll runs for bonuses and commissions.
Manage timecard input and approvals for hourly employees.
Work with the human resources department to insure that new employee information is entered correctly in the pay system.
Comply with all Federal and State payroll laws including quarterly and annual tax return filing.
Work with department supervisors to timely obtain data necessary to process payroll.
Implement processes designed to streamline payroll processing and minimize errors.
Produce payroll data necessary to make hiring and business decisions and produce reports as needed to assist with financial reporting at month end.

QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

At least five years of payroll processing experience demonstrating an ability to process payroll for an employee count exceeding 400.
The ideal candidate possesses a high level of reliability, precision, and attention to detail.
Experience in construction or home services industries a plus.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
Experience with ADP a plus.
Initiative and ability to work independently and part of a team and organization.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Comfortable exporting and importing Excel data to and from the payroll system.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work will be performed in an office setting. Occasional lifting of file boxes up to 30lbs. Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
