Job Description : PLANT MANAGER: GRAND RAPIDS, MITranscendia is a global market leader in specialty films with expertise across a wide spectrum of technologies. We specialize in customizing plastic film structures, changing their chemistry, composition or configuration, and offer the widest range of film products and capabilities. These include liquid coating, extrusion coating, sheet and film extrusion, specialized compounding and a wide range of custom converting services including slitting, sheeting, embossing, perforating, magnetic striping, security holograms and specialty printable plastics for commercial printing.This is an exceptional opportunity for a strong operational leader to fully lead a high growth site with ongoing significant investment via the private equity firm, Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.. The business has a multi-year pipeline full of business with leaders at the site who genuinely demonstrate a “can do” attitude for the business which has doubled over the last year or so. It’s expected the site will grow 3x’s its size in the next 24 months. The site needs a no-ego, high emotional EQ leader who can bring stronger process orientation and data/KPI driven actions/results to support the continuous improvement expertise currently on site. The selected leader would receive a competitive base salary, strong bonus target as well as additional variable long term compensation incentives. Full benefits and relocation assistance from the 48 continental USA are offered.
