The Evergreen Packaging Turlock Carton Converting Facility is located in Turlock, California, within an hour of the California Napa wine country and in close proximity to the city of San Francisco . Opened in 1957 and employing 130 team members, the facility prints and die cuts refrigerated gable top cartons for a variety of national and regional brands supplying retail groceries and schools throughout the western US and Canada.

This is an entry level manufacturing position responsible for handling stacks of paper cartons and monitoring the quality of our product.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Manufacturing/production/warehouse experience desired but not required
Previous packaging experience a PLUS!
Previous experience working on a production floor a PLUS !
Qualifications:
What you will need to succeed….
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Excellent attendance and demonstrated commitment to excellent job performance
Reliable transportation
Ability to work rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) including overtime.
Motivation to train two jobs up
High energy and a passion for a manufacturing career
Ability to work independently and within a Team
Attention to detail
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience using tools, preferred not required
Sound judgment and decision making
Basic math and computer skills required
Ability to detect colors and shades
Ability to read, write and follow instructions
Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation in accomplishing all tasks
Ability to work scheduled shifts, standing, kneeling, climbing and walking for extended periods of time; capable of repetitive gripping, pinching, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling with weight ranges up to 50 pounds; ability to perform repeated twisting, bending and reaching.
