Position : Program Manager
Job Description : The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the ongoing operation of a behavioral health residential treatment program. This includes overall responsibility for the supervision, development and motivation of staff, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of day to day operations. The Program Manager carries out all job responsibilities with fidelity, integrity and accountability to the agency. The Program Manager ensures the highest level of care, service and engagement for the residents in the home.
This position is full-time, and the shift is Tuesday through Saturday. The hours may vary depending on where support is most needed, but typically it will be 10a-6p.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordination of new client admissions.
Communication with the state licensee concerning the administrative operations of the facility.
Oversee all aspects of management and the clients’ experience as it relates to support staff, outings, and outside meetings, including but not limited to admissions procedures and new client orientation; client safety and rounds log; managing clients’ electronics, monitored items, and safety deposit boxes; clinical interventions performed by the support staff and associated documentation; support of client rules and expectations; ensuring adherence to facility policies and procedures.
Establishment and maintenance of employee files and records; including staff training records, in service training, personnel record, and employee roster. Conduct supervision on a monthly basis or as needed.
Support personnel training in accordance with policies and procedures.
Management of all aspects of scheduling-oriented processes, including but not limited to creating the schedule for all support staff, finding coverage as needed.
Help create and maintain weekly client schedule, if needed.
Coordinate sending and receiving records requests.
Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, promoting, performance review, counseling and termination. Ensure all new employees meet requirements for employment set forth in licensing standards, including follow-up with completion of new hire packet paperwork.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, etc and/or relevant work experience
Two (2) years full-time work experience in behavioral health, preferably in a residential treatment setting. Experience must be in the direct provision of services to clients and at least one (1) year must be in the position of supervising direct care staff.
Specific, required, current, and active licensure, registration, or certification must be maintained in good standing.
Preferred candidates should have sound understanding of mental illness and co-occurring disorders
Proficient computer skills and ability use various software programs.
Have a valid driver’s license in good standing and auto insurance.
Successfully complete drug screen and comprehensive background check.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as needed. Flexibility and adaptability in schedule are essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
