Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to handle daily purchasing duties at our Portland-area electric motor repair shop.Purchasing experience in the electric motor repair industry or a closely related industry is a must.We are a small office working environment – as Purchasing Manger you would be the primary person responsible for meeting the supply needs for regular repair jobs, as well as requisitioning tools and supplies for the shop.Our Purchasing Manager is also responsible for opening resale jobs for new motors and for parts.Requirements:Industry experienceGood communication skillsExperience with MS Office – Word/Excel/OutlookAble to work on a team in a small office environmentWe use an industry-specific accounting/purchasing system and will train, but knowledge of normal purchasing procedures is a must.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
