Field Technician (Part-time)
Buchanan Technologies is seeking two (2) Field Technicians in Sunnyvale, CA! The perfect opportunity for qualified individuals who are seeking limited, but steady part-time hours; approximately 8-12 hours per week. The estimated project duration is 12 months.
Overview:
This position will be focusing on the installation, calibration, survey, and maintenance (ongoing, approximately 8-12 hours per week) of smart parking device sensors and gateway devices in parking garage structures and surface parking lots in Sunnyvale, CA.
Qualifications:
Most critical is knowledge and understanding of smart device technologies is expected.
Experience installing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment
Experience in a technical service environment is a plus.
College qualified with a relevant technical qualification and at least 3-5 years relevant work experience ideal.
Excellent verbal communication skills in English are required.
Valid Standard Driver’s License, your own vehicle, and a clean driving record is required.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the territory, work overtime, weekends and respond to service calls outside of regular hours as required.
Must work well independently, as well as follow directions.
