Job Description : Responsibilities

As a Study Coordinator, your primary responsibilities include:

Screen and recruit participants for studies; conduct patient interviews (in-person and by telephone), patient education, and patient follow-up
Perform data collection and analysis
Assist with the preparation and submission of required regulatory documents and paperwork required for study compliance to study sponsor for each research protocol (e.g. CV’s, Laboratory Certificates, FDA Forms including FDA IND, 1572’s, financial disclosure forms, training certificates, delegation of authority forms, Pharmacy logs, IRB approvals)

Qualifications

Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and Windows applications
Skill in interacting with persons on a one-to-one basis of various social and educational backgrounds and age
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Skill in performing all direct and indirect patient care functions
Ability to shift priorities and adapt to changes
Ability to work with frequent interruptions
Excellent customer service
Strong time management and organizational skills
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal

Not required, but a bonus if you have the following:

CITI training
Skill to process and handle blood and urine specimens
Working knowledge for IRB submissions
Spanish fluency
