***This position is scheduled for a mid June start-up***
The warehouse associate is mainly responsible for the loading and unloading of products, rebuilding them into shippable pallets, and other general warehouse functions.
Summary of Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Associate
Unloading and loading product from containers/trucks/vans using conveyor belt system
Rebuilding product into palletized shipments
Order pulling
Inventory control
Warehouse cleaning
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks
Summary of Experience and Education
We prefer our warehouse associates to have six (6) months or more related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. . Requirements:
Warehouse associates must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Warehouse associates must have basic mathematic skills
Warehouse associates must be available to work all scheduled shifts M-F with the possibility of a Saturday rotation
Physical Demands
This position may require the Warehouse Associate to lift/negotiate up to 400 lbs. assisted by other employees. They must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time while squatting, bending, pulling or lifting. Also, must be able to maneuver, bend, squat and crawl while utilizing hand tools and other equipment. The Warehouse Associate must be in good physical condition to complete these tasks and a physical may be required.
The perks of working for Ritchie Trucking Service:
Hourly pay of $19.00-$22.00/hr. + O/T after 40 hours/wk.
