Job Description : Lev Linkner MD, a well established solo Holistic Family Medical doctor has a full-time job opportunity (four days a week) for a Medical receptionist. This person needs to be a highly motivated individual with an alternative medicine background or a strong desire to learn about alternative/holistic medicine.This job entails: Answering phones, filing lab reports, charts and other office material, faxing, helping patients check in before office visit and checking out after their office visit. Handling and processing money and payments Basic computer skills and literacy are required with some knowledge of medical terminology, Opening and closing the office as needed. Some of the skills will need to be learned as “on the job training” Attention to detail is vitally important.As important as these skill and tools are, personality attributes are key for excellent patient care. Patience, tolerance, respect, compassion, a sense of humor and a positive outlook on life are must-have qualities for this position.We are a small office and being a team member is how we all work best.We are looking for an individual to work Monday through Thursday 8:45am – 5pm (sometimes a little later) Our office is closed on Fridays.At this time we are only seeing in person fully Covid vaccinated patients wearing N95 masks. We are not seeing those who may have potential Covid symptoms.In the response to the ad please include both a resume and cover letter.
