Are you seeking a part-time job with great pay and reliable hours? Are you available for weekend work? Delta Faucet in Lapeer has a unique opportunity for part-time manufacturing work. We are looking for Operators, Production Members, and Material Handlers to work on either first shift (6a-2p), second shift (2p-10p), or third shift (10p-6a) on Saturday AND Sunday. Additional hours on Friday OR Monday are available on a volunteer basis. Starting pay is $18.60 per hour.
The Delta-Lapeer facility manufactures plastic bathtubs, shower bases and coordinating wall units. Our products are in high demand, and we are ready to onboard Weekend Warriors, but we need your help….
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
Lift, carry and place parts on trim fixture
Use hand tools to smooth rough edges
Make pass/fail quality decisions based on quality standards
Prep boxes with foam-on-demand cushions, labels and instruction books
Lift, carry and place finished parts on the box
Close and staple the box using air powered tool
Stack completed boxes on the pallet and prep for stretch wrap
Follow standardized work to meet production and quality expectations
Participate in team environment with 2 – 5 team members in the area
Physical Requirements of position:
Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs.
Occasionally work with pushing weights of up to 40lbs.
Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
Able to bend, reach, twist and carry above shoulder / below waist level.
Able to stand for periods of up to 8-12 hour shifts, with breaks.
Able to visually inspect parts for defects.
