Job Description : We are currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our motivated team.You must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and have both excellent communication and people skills, and have a professional and courteous demeanor.Duties include (but are not limited to), the following: Welcoming and greeting clients in a friendly, courteous and polite mannerResponding to inquires in person, by phone and emailAnswering calls in a multi-line phone systemBooking appointments and making reminder callsPreparing patient filesUpdating filesProcessing paymentsCleaningOther duties as assignedMust have EXCELLENT telephone manners, and be very polite and professional in all interactions with clients.Required skills: Minimum one (1) year customer service experience preferably in a Veterinary PracticeEducational background in a Veterinary/Animal related program preferredAbility to multi-task under pressure and maintain composure while dealing with delicate situationsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with clients in a caring, compassionate, courteous and professional manner.Ability to maintain a very high attention to detail and be extremely organizedBe a team player, collaborative, and work well with others A MUST.Job Type: Full-timePay: $10.00 – $11.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountFlexible schedulePaid time offRetirement planSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Ithaca, MI 48847: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
