Job Description : Role SummaryWalker-Miller Energy Services is currently seeking an HR Operations Manager. The HR Operations Manager plans, directs and coordinates the HR activities of Walker-Miller Energy Services and using the existing systems and platforms to the maximum extent possible. Position includes leadership and hand-on activities to ensure the daily functions and transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. This position has a heavy process, systems and HRIS technology focus, including process development, system implementation and ongoing updates. This role will be actively engaged in HR actions and will continually seek efficiencies and process improvements to improve the HR services of the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.Lead, manage and operate in alignment with our core values-driven culture that encourages top performance with compassion.Lead the HR operations/transaction team in managing the day-to-day activities to support the HR, payroll, benefits and other interrelated functions in compliance with all state & federal regulations.Foster and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, including senior management, operations managers, and other administrative department heads.Serve as an interface between internal/external customers and the functional team members to ensure efficient and effective definition of and delivery of HR services utilizing technology to the maximum extent possible.Provide overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources and their activities.Maximize use of systems to efficiently and effectively deliver HR transactions and services, and ensure data integrity and accuracy. Seek and deliver ongoing process improvements using technology.Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains HRIS system tables. Documents processes and results.Work with key leaders within the organization on various HR projects and objectives.Creates written communications such as memos; “white papers”; forms; policies and procedure documentation, and other professional quality information as needed for HR and the organization.Generates reports/queries, including writing maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.Manages projects/process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality and compliance.Performs HRIS system configuration and maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.Maintains HRIS systems to organize and analyze information used in varied human resources functions. Compiles and analyzes data. Prepares and processes special and recurring reports and administrative records. Monitors employee retention and other standard metricsAudits and assesses human resources processes and practices; identifies, researches, and resolves problems; coordinates policies with organizational goalsContinuously evaluate HR services provided by outside vendors and suggest changes or improvements as needed.Support new team member orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.Coordination of all HR activities for new contract start up and ending.Responsible for administration of the company drug testing, leave management, workers compensation, payroll, benefits and exit core processes.Reconcile vendor billings.Basic Qualifications:In order for us to fulfill our mission to provide an extraordinary experience every day, we require all team members to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
