Job Description : JOB TITLE: Bakery Shift – Full-Time or Part-Time
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt– Hourly
SHIFT SCHEDULE: Full-time or Part-time
DEPT/LOCATION: Salem Wholesale Baking
REPORTS TO: Bakery Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bakery Shift role is responsible for preparing wholesale baked goods, and excellent service to all customers. This includes customer service, order preparation, and other bakery related tasks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparing wholesale baked goods
Mixing, cutting, preparing, packing, and shipping.
Bending and lifting frequently
Operating 140-quart mixer (once trained)

SKILLS:

No previous experience necessary, we will train the right person!
Keen attention to detail
MUST BE ABLE to lift up to 20 lbs. throughout the day

REQUIREMENTS • Minimum education level of high school graduate or GED equivalency • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift • Regularly lift and or move up to 20 pounds • Must have strong attention to detail • Must have excellent customer service skills • Must be capable of effectively communicating with customers and co-workers • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
