Position : Assistant Junior Construction Project Manager

Job Description : AECOM Tishman is seeking a Assistant Construction Project Manager for various data center/mission critical construction projects across the mid-west. This position can be performed remotely with travel to various client site throughout the Mid-West USA. We are seeking candidates in Bozeman, MT, Minneapolis, MN or New York City, NY areas.

Job Description:
+ Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a small to moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a larger, more complex project, following set guidelines for tasks.

+ Employee receives clear and specific instructions and/or follows standardized instructions or procedures without ongoing supervision. Work is checked for accuracy, adequacy and adherence to instructions. Employee consults with supervisor on matters not covered in the original instructions.

+ May interface with design team.

+ May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.

+ May assist with and monitor change orders

+ May assist with and review financial reporting

+ Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract

+ Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate.

+ Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.

About Construction Management – AECOM Tishman

Since 1898, AECOM Tishman has managed the construction of some of the world’s most iconic buildings. We employ a diversified preconstruction and construction management staff of structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers; architects; technology specialists; scheduling and cost control personnel; and construction estimators and accountants. We provide expert consultation and guidance in all phases of a building project, from master-planning, preconstruction options evaluation and decision-making, to design review, estimating, and scheduling, through procurement, construction, and occupancy. AECOM Tishman’s staff manages all consultants and contractors on a project, representing client interests throughout the project cycle. In total, AECOM Tishman has built more than 900 million square feet – including the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, One World Trade Center in New York.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements :
+ BA/BS + relevant experience in working construction project management or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred :
+ Experience with construction documentation such as submittals, requisitions, scheduling, purchasing, meeting documentation, etc.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)

+ Ability to interact with many tiers of management on an active construction site.

+ Position will travel between various sites, either by personal vehicle or public transportation. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursable.
