Are you passionate about serving Oregon youth experiencing homelessness through culturally responsive services? The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), Office of Self-Sufficiency Programs, is seeking a Youth Experiencing Homelessness Coordinator /Program Analyst 3.
This is a Limited Duration position. The duration of this position would be through June 30, 2023, with potential for extension based on approval of funding.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Youth Experiencing Homelessness Program is responsible for coordinating statewide planning for delivery of services to youth experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
The Office of Self-Sufficiency Programs actively seeks to provide culturally appropriate services where individuals and families are treated respectfully, compassionately, and effectively in a manner that recognizes, affirms and values the worth of children, individuals, families and communities, protecting and preserving the dignity of each. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will be responsible for assisting the Office of Self-Sufficiency Programs (SSP) carry out legislative intent and Department vision, mission, and equity goals by leading the development and implementation of key investments benefiting youth as part of the Youth Experiencing Homelessness Program (YEHP). The investments you will be responsible for leading include the development and implementation of a Host Home Demonstration Pilot.
You will actively support and promote culturally appropriate services centering youth voices and ensuring youth are treated respectfully, compassionately, and effectively in a manner that recognizes, affirms, and values the worth of youth and communities, protecting and preserving the dignity of each. You will be developing and managing contracts and budgets. You will provide excellent customer service, communication, and collaboration. You’ll demonstrate written, verbal, and analytical skills. You will also utilize computer skills, including spreadsheet tracking in Excel. This position involves significant collaboration with contracted partners, grantees, partner agencies, and agency service delivery staff.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The person in this position works a combination of remote work, and in an open-landscape office environment, with occasional travel required. A valid driver’s license or other acceptable method of transportation is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Services, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR; Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.

Experience in working with youth, individuals and families who have intersections of identities that experience challenges navigating supports and services (eg. Race, ethnicity, LGBTQIA2S+, different abilities, socioeconomic status, geographic location, etc.).
Experience in the analysis of program performance and data
