Job Description : Haviland Enterprises, Inc., a 100% Employee Owned, industrial chemical, plastics and pool and spa chemical manufacturing and distribution company, specializing in creative chemistry seeks 4, 1st Shift Packagers in our Walker, MI facility. We are looking for an independent, reliable, self-motivated, self-starter, with a positive attitude, team approach, with an “Owner” and process improvement mentality. We are willing to train someone without production or manufacturing experience. If that is you, apply today! We have too many perks to list them all!Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm with overtime on Friday as needed (which is usually a 6hr. day.)Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: No experience necessary – Willing to train!High School Diploma or Equivalent.Must be at least 18 year of age.Hi-lo experience a plus.Automated filling equipment experience a plus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure proper labeling, capping, heat sealing, coding, and packaging of products while maintaining quality, accuracy, and efficiency.Program assembly lines for different packaging sizes.Change over and set up.Equipment wash-outs.Accurately complete kit assembly and packaging.Start-up and test-run machines as well as perform operational maintenance procedures as directed.May be required to help in all HCPI departments as needed.Assist in material handling if license is obtained.Complete standard work.Perform quality control checks.Benefits: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt position.$16.88/hr. minimum with multiple reviews in the first year for a potential increase up to $18.57/hr. within 12-14 months.100% Company provided equity growth & ownership through Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
