Job Description : Perform all tasks involved in the packaging of Tweddle Group owners literature kits. This work includes component placement, visual inspection, component picking, packaging and labeling. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is safe, accurate, and efficient. Work will be done within a team environment; the ability to work as a collaborative team member and live up to all Tweddle Group values is paramount. Essential Functions: Adhere to Tweddle Group values Customer Focus, Global Perspectives, Innovation, Integrity, Our Environment, Ownership Attitude, Passion for Growth, Teamwork, and Inclusion Adhere to Tweddle Group priorities of safety, quality, delivery and cost/efficiency Work with other team members to continuously improve the work environment and the production process through a process of continual learning. Read work orders and perform work as directed by department supervisor Assemble and package owners literature kits by placing the correct components, in the correct sequence into the indicated work order package. Attach the correct labels onto the kits, totes, boxes pallets Pack finished kits into the correct boxes, totes and/or pallets Track production on schedule boards Notify supervisor of any quality or mechanical issues. Maintain a safe clean work environment. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production. Knowledge and Experience: This position will be required to perform basic math. Requirements: Physical: the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, components or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Sensory: Must have the ability to hear the warning sounds associated with machinery such as material handling equipment and packaging lines. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Mental: Reading, writing basic mathematical skills Other: Must be able to work well as part of a team Working conditions: Must be able to work 6:00 AM 2:30 PM. Occasional mandatory overtime may be necessary with short notice. May be required to change work shifts based on changing customer demand.
