Job Description : JOB SUMMARY: This position leads change, builds talent plans and pipelines, sees trends, and puts plans in place to continuously improve performance of their portfolio of café’s. In a fast-paced organization, the Regional Operations Manager, will direct a portfolio of stores. The position is a leader of leaders, and direct reports are Cafe Managers and Café Leads. You will be responsible for developing a diverse team of talent while supporting your managers and leads, engaging in their respective communities and delivering great service to their guests. Travel will be required as needed based on the needs of the business.QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Proven experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail, restaurant, or specialty coffee industry operations and financial reportingCoach and mentor Café Managers and Leads to effectively and consistently train and develop their teamsDevelop and implement processes to ensure a superior food and beverage service to maximize guest satisfactionWork with Café leaders and HR/Recruitment to proactively communicate staffing needs and gaps as well as opportunities to develop current team members through a career development pathRespond rapidly to highly complex challenges where solutions may not be obviousDevelop and manage projects around community focused events· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines with attention to detail and organization· Utilize interpersonal skills with excellent ability to effectively communicate, while managing working relationships between all departments within the organizationHigh integrity and opennessHighly motivated with an inquiring mind and passion for excellenceStrong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsOther duties as assignedStrong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsExperience with new openings, build outs, and brand growth in multiple markets3+ years of retail, restaurant, or specialty coffee experience leading 2 or more stores, departments, or units with P&L, inventory, operations, and customer service, preferred3+ years of leadership experience leading a team of 6 or more, including training & coaching, with strong communication skills, preferred2+ years of experience in a customer service-oriented roleSecondary Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: · Maintain strict job-related confidentiality, attend trainings as necessary, manage workload and prioritize tasks· Model leadership and work ethic by demonstrating objectivity, neutrality, and calmness under pressure· Always act with the highest level of ethics and integrity, take on new responsibilities and goals· Actively solicit input, provide evaluation, and feedback and offer constructive feedback when necessary· Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage communications, learn quickly, and build relationships with all levels of the organization· Ability to handle multiple demands, work under pressure, and meet deadlines· Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation· Must comply with all company and departmental policies and proceduresCONFIDENTIALITY: Due to the sensitive nature of the information dealt with, all job-related information will be held in strictest confidence unless otherwise directed by the CEO or CPO.Physical Demands and Working Environment: The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
