Job Description : About the PositionThe City of Grants Pass GIS Division facilitates geospatial data for every city department along with providing exceptional service to citizens, developers, clients, and various local, state, or federal agencies. There’s never a dull moment and your GIS skill sets will quickly grow.A GIS Technician updates tabular and spatial records, produces and maintains various forms of geospatial data, including but not limited to mobile aps, web maps and custom prints. As a technician with the City of Grants Pass you will be responsible for website/portal updates and fielding citizen/client requests. A tech is also expected to keep a positive attitude and engage a variety of internal departments in order to maintain a robust and accurate GIS database.
