Job Summary:
The Para-Educator supports the vision and mission of the Genesee Intermediate School District by assisting certificated staff, licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other ancillary staff in the support of instructional, health-related, recreational, and prevocational/job training activities in the assigned area of responsibility for students with students with disabilities. The Para-Educator may be assigned to one classroom, to assist with home visits, or as one-on-one assistant to a student or to a variety of assignments depending on the needs of the students.

Available:

One (1) full-time positions; average of 7 hours per day. 185 days per year Balanced Calendar.

Salary:
$16.04-$22.94 per hour. Genesee Intermediate Educational Support Personnel Association.
Benefits:
Eligible for health insurance and life insurance after one full day of employment; dental, vision and disability insurance after 90 working days. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs in accordance with state law and the GIESPA agreement.
