Job Description : We are currently seeking an Entry Level Steel Fabricator to join our rapidly expanding company. In this role, you will be trained to use various techniques to fabricate and install metal items, including welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing. We are willing to train the right candidate who possesses a strong work ethic and desire to grow and progress in this industry. The day-to-day job is focused on completing various construction related fabrication projects. Products are primarily made using mild steel shapes and plate.Responsibilities:Manufacture and fabricate finished metal productsRead and interpret technical drawingsTroubleshoot issues with the fabrication or equipmentAccountable for safety, productivity and quality of fabricated products within departmentQualifications:Able to follow verbal directions precisely, helping the team get the job doneExcellent hand-eye coordinationAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periodsStrong math and measurement skillsSolid work ethic and team playerMust have good organization and time management skillsAbility to participate in production and safety meetings and innovative using process thinking and continuous improvementPast experience in a manufacturing facility a plusExperiencing using shop tools and equipment preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: Multiple Locations
