Job Description : Oregon Arms & Ammunition is looking for a full-time CashierThis is a position for individuals that have experience with cashiering and data entry, good attention to detail is a must. We are looking for people with experience and interest in firearms, you don’t need to be an expert but the more knowledge the better.Please email us any questions you have about the job. Do not call the store or stop by, our business hours are dedicated to taking care of customers.Applicants for this position MUST:Currently own firearms and go shootingCurrently own a handgun and be willing to open carry while at workHave experience with cashiering and data entryBe able to multitaskJob Overview:Your day will be spent greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers in a positive and professional manner. The majority of your time will be spent cashiering and processing background checks on customer firearm purchases.Key Responsibilities:CashieringProcessing paperwork for background checksAssisting customersGeneral store cleaning and maintenanceYour qualifications:Friendly personality / Positive attitudeExcellent customer service skillsAbility to clearly and effectively communicate in person and over the phoneBasic computer skillsAbility to lift 30 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionallyAbility to spend entire shift standing and walkingAble to work weekendsJob Type: Full-timePay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
