Job Description : Shipping Packer Position at Prestige Stamping in Warren Michigan

Earn $32,000 – $40,000 per year plus bonus incentive of $750+ per quarter. Job Responsibilities:
Visually inspect the parts in the hopper. Notify the leader of any defects or contamination.
Weigh count the good parts on the scale as they are being placed into shipping cartons; seal the cartons with the taping machine . Put bar-code labels on each carton.
Place the sealed cartons on the available pallet and wrap the completed pallet.
Direct the forklift driver to place the wrapped pallet into its proper stock location.
Operate the forklift truck, if qualified, as needed to “feed” the tumbler, packaging lines, storage racks, etc.
Sort parts when necessary while packaging.
Keep machinery, equipment, and surrounding area in a clean condition.
Learn how to operate the tumbler.

Job Requirements:
Be 18+ years old
Must have high school diploma
Must have math skills
Must have reading skills
Must have legible penmanship
Must have basic computer skills
Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays

You should be proficient in:

Production Setups
Packaging

Machines & technologies you’ll use:

Forklifts

Salary info:

$16 – $17 / hr
