Overview of Position
The Product Application Support Representative will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to Change Healthcare customers using an ASP web application. Analyzes problems with software applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend solutions. Field and respond to telephone calls and emails from end-users, administrators, vendors, and insurance carriers.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Responsible for responding to product application support questions from customers regarding the company’s software
Analyzes problems with software applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action. Recommends solutions to customer application questions
Activities include ownership of requests, research, analysis, troubleshooting and customer communication necessary to deliver appropriate resolution to customer inquiries
Extensive interaction with Change Healthcare customers including insurance organizations, hospitals, and providers for the purpose of providing product usage or technical solutions
Works on advanced problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Manage special projects, as assigned
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Bachelor Degree or four years of professional work experience
2+ years of experience resolving customer escalations
2+ years of product applications support experience
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Experience within the healthcare industry
Knowledge of the Payer/Provider environment
Understand HIPAA compliance regulations
Project management experience
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines while providing quality results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
