Age UK’s Digital & Technology Team are expanding, and we are looking to recruit 2 Cloud Platforms Engineers.

These new opportunities will allow the post holders to provide technology and end-user support, whilst working under the direction of the Infrastructure Manager.

In these roles you will be required to design, implement, and maintain Age UK information technology systems, platforms, and processes.
You will have:

Experience in:
Microsoft 365 and AzureWorking in diverse IT environments and teams.
Working with BAU teams supporting IT systems.Delivering BAU and project work independently and as part of a larger team.Translating business requirements into technical objectives.

An understanding of Technical Concepts:
IAAS/PAAS/SAAS and “serverless” approach to infrastructureObservability: monitoring, performance metrics, logging, and automated response.Product Lifecycle: development, UAT, production, EOLFamiliarity with product licensing: Microsoft, O365, and AzureConfiguration management, IAACMicrosoft 365 platform adminExchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDriveMicrosoft Endpoint Manager, IntuneMicrosoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office365Microsoft AzureAzure Resource Manager (ARM), Virtual Machines, VNets, Virtual Gateways and VPN, App Services, Storage Accounts, Backup Vault and Recovery Services, Azure SQL, Azure FunctionsPowerShell (.NET languages beneficial)Power AutomateNetworking: OSI L1-3, DNS, MX, SPF, DHCP, VLAN, MPLS, SDWANAzure Active DirectoryWindows Server 2012, 2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022Patch Management: WSUS, Azure Update Domains, Intune Update RingsBasics of Linux admin, any distroServer monitoring and performance metricsAzure, Microsoft 365, or Windows Server certification highly desirable
