The Role and Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for bright Senior/ Midweight UX/UI Designer with skills and passion needed to interpret their clients’ needs and design solutions with high functional and visual impact. The ideal candidate is one who keeps their finger on the pulse of the latest best practices and strives to understand the many diverse perspectives of end-users.
As an organisation, they punch above their weight and boast a roster of high-profile client work such as Canon, Heathrow, EY, Sony, JPMorgan, RBS, Nespresso, Zurich, and Kenwood, as well as numerous niche SMEs. They also work internationally across Europe and Southeast Asia and have got big ambitions, so they will be wanting a UX /UI Designer with solid creative agency experience – ideally across some of their key client sectors – Financial Services, Technology, FMCG and Travel.

The UX / UI Designer will join their growing team of designers, developers and marketing professionals who ensure their brand-led solutions deliver on style, functionality, and results. Whether you are producing original and relevant creative ideas, supporting the overall creative output in the studio, creating Sitemaps / Wireframing based on client discovery meetings, creating engaging digital design for web based on discovery and wireframing activities (Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator) and email / digital advertising campaign assets or collaborating with development teams on prototypes / designs bringing them into live products, you will be absolutely essentially in continuing the inspiring work currently being produced by their talented studio.
In short, it will be your inspiration, flair and creative drive that helps deliver highly innovative and relevant design solutions.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
UX, user profiling, user journey flows,
Experience with conducting UX research,
Wireframing / low-fi prototyping,
HTML, CSS, JS knowledge for UI and interaction design (but no expectation to code,)
Experience working with component-based design and design systems,
Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch,
Responsive website design principles and principles,
Email design,
Animated Digital Advertising/Social media banners,
Usability best practice,
Understanding of web standards and accessibility guidelines,
Understanding of Google Analytics and user tracking tools,
Ability to work with web development teams to liaise with handovers and ensuring design is brought to life as intended,
WordPress/Other CMS knowledge (no coding expectation, but ability to use CMS)
