Our team and the role we are hiring for
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer , part of the team that owns company wide system architecture, involving in architectural review processes; and work closely with the rest of engineering team to take our capabilities to the next level.
Responsibilities
Part of the team that owns company wide system architecture, involving in architectural review processes
Executing the technical strategy and building scalable architecture using modern distributed application software that meets the overall business requirements
Collaborate with other engineers to rebuild our existing architecture, towards scalability and maintainability
Be the front liner on adopting new technologies into our system, evaluating/integrating with 3rd party solutions, and regional expansion with data sovereignty complexity
Work closely with other engineers to ensure highly reliable system
Keep abreast of the latest technologies and develop plans to adopt advance technologies
Requirements
At least 8 years working experience in software/product engineering in fast-paced environments
At least 4 years of experience in designing and implementing large scale internet based software architecture
Track record of building scalable systems. Experience with microservices and exposure to highly available web systems
Strong knowledge of current technological trends, frontend, backend, data, cloud native applications such as Java, Microservices, UI development, Cloud, DevOps, Data Engineering, Databases, etc.
Strong communication skills with ability to work with individuals from multiple domains, from product owners to 3rd party partners
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment
