Job Description
The ServiceNow Training and Certification organization is highly adaptable, innovative, and constantly evolving. We are passionate about our products, and we live for our customers. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail, communication (excellent reading, listening, written and verbal skills) and demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, and assertiveness.
We are looking for a talented Technical Certification Developer to produce and maintain Certification and Assessment assets, perform operational processes, and be the primary point of contact between the Certification and Curriculum Development teams.
What you get to do in this role:
Develop and maintain Certification Exam Items to assess technical proficiency of the Now® Platform.
Map competencies in Certification Pools to terminal course objectives.
Lead a training portfolio’s Psychometric Analysis activities.
Develop and maintain Certification Simulator Test Items.
Develop and maintain Certification Test Prep eLearning videos.
Develop and maintain Certification supporting documentation (e.g. Blueprints, course descriptions, and other specification docs).
Develop and maintain Certification results reporting and analytics.
Act as a liaison between the Certification and Curriculum Development teams.
Establish relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop high quality and accurate Certification exam items and supporting assets.
Adhere to timelines and schedules for product deliverables and maintain up to date and accurate project plans throughout the duration of the project.
Review test items created by other item writers for quality and adherence to project standards and specifications.
Pro-actively create/improve operational processes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
At least 2-5 years’ of experience writing exam questions, answers, and distractors for use in various types of technical/software focused assessments.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a good understanding of English grammar and punctuation.
Flexibility to work US hours (20-25 % of the work time)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and work under tight deadlines.
Communicate to stakeholders and team members with clear and detailed presentations, and ability to effectively lead productive meetings.
Strong technical knowledge of web technologies and working in a SaaS environment.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Experience with the Kryterion’s Webassessor platform is a plus.
Experience with the ServiceNow Platform is a plus.
Experience producing eLearning videos is a plus.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.

Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
