Finance Systems Team (FST) PMO Management USI Consultant
The Finance Systems Team Project Management Office (FST PMO) provides support to the US Firm for the global Deloitte Finance Systems. The FST PMO provides operational management and oversight activities to help drive the operation, enhancement and integration of the Global Finance Systems ensuring the interest of the US firms is at the forefront. The focus of the FST PMO is providing the organizational tools needed to ensure the Finance Systems Team as well as US Business Process Areas can effectively liaise with the GFS and ITS organizations managing the Global Finance applications. The FST PMO reports to and works alongside the US Finance Systems Team to manage daily operational activities including but not limited to process development, progress reporting, information and stakeholder management, and meeting development/execution. The FST PMO USI Consultant will support the FST PMO Lead in the following, but not limited to:
Assist with communication and project management for US SWIFT teams to help manage and execute strategic priorities.
Work across FST and US Business Process Areas to interface with stakeholders for status reporting, issue tracking, research, documentation and addressing questions related to the activities of the Project Management Office.
organizing recurring meetings, driving & coordinating agenda, establishing and executing regular status reporting.
Create and maintain a repository of common processes, templates, and best practices to be implemented, including QRM protocols when applicable, and establishing relationship network across Finance to gather input, socialize and implement same items
Track Enhancement Requests, Change Orders, Defects, Problems, and Incidents related to system enhancements.
Centrally track Enhancements, Defects, Problems related to system enhancement
Work closely with FST Lead, FST Operations Manager, FST PMO Lead, US Business Process Areas and GFS/ITS groups serving the US to capture priority items
Conduct follow-ups as needed to resolve issues and/or complete required documentation.
Attend multiple calls to stay abreast of developments or communicate status.
Build knowledge and participate in discussions on new functionality.
Team with US Business Process Leads and STT to support prioritization of Aged Problems through execution
Assist with work-plans and help to maintain team priorities.
Support the team with onboarding personnel, producing presentation materials for Leadership reporting and managing virtual logistics (e.g., schedule meetings, coordinating attendance, compiling meeting notes and follow up tracking, updates and action items).
Assist FST Testing Lead and FST PMO Lead with testing documentation archival, as well as testing coordination and required activities as needed.
The team
The US Finance Systems Team drives SWIFT system functionality to support the needs of the Finance organization. Joining the team provides an opportunity to drive the future vision of the Finance organization.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 3 years of related professional experience in project management
Excellent written and conversational communication skills
Ability to work and achieve results — with minimal supervision — in an intense, fast-paced, virtual team environment; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinker and proactive practitioner who can work at both strategic and tactical levels to deliver high-value results. Able to think creatively and independently while also using knowledge gained through prior experience, education, and training to resolve issues and remove barriers.
Ability to navigate through complex organizations, and with strong influencing skills to drive initiatives through to their successful conclusion
Flexibility and adaptability required; ability to work under constantly changing conditions and tight deadlines
Experience with core Microsoft Office packages are essential. Advanced Excel, basic MS Project and intermediate MS Teams are key skills for operations/process excellence in role
Basic Powerpoint skills and ability to develop presentations, including details, logic, and content tailored to the appropriate audience
Exceptional relationship management skills to establish rapport, trust and confidence with key stakeholders Experience in collaborating with teams in a professional services or large matrixed company
Experience with virtual teams across multiple time zones.
Preferred:
Experience with SWIFT and SAP
Basic understanding of client project engagement lifecycle, back-office processes and related downstream processes/systems
Experience with corporate Finance and/or technical development & delivery in Agile, Waterfall, etc. environments
