Position : Project Construction Manager
Job Description : The Robinson Group is looking for an experienced Project Construction Manager in the property management field. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing construction activities on assigned properties by planning, organizing, and implementing site specific control systems, subcontractor supervision, supplier management, purchasing, and scheduling efforts. The Project Manager is the one ultimately responsible for ensuring that the project is completed in a timely manner in strict accordance with plans, specifications, local codes, budget, and schedule constraints. The Project Manager must be able to work independently but also succeed as part of a project team. One of the responsibilities of the Project Manager includes being the key representative for the Company for all assigned projects. This position requires a strong understanding of construction methods, excellent documentation skills and good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all members of the project (both internal & external). The Project Manager must be a flexible and adaptable team-player.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the preparation of work plans and scheduling to determine manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
Drafts scopes, contract documents, and closeout documents for each project for review and approval by the Owner & Director of Operations.
Advise senior level management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc.; lead the efforts to resolve such problems when encountered
Develop and maintain good business relations with the projects customers, vendors, subcontractors, and/or other associates of the project.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards in accordance with Company policies, goals and principles.
Ensure accurate cost and revenue reporting and forecasting procedures are practiced in accordance with company policy. Prepare accurate monthly cost and revenue reports.
Maintain control of the project schedule. Ensure that milestones are met and that critical items of work are accomplished on time or ahead of schedule.
Plans, schedules, and regularly updates project timelines and milestones using appropriate specified tools. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, required documentation, and presentations in a consistent, timely manner.
Researches and develops relationships with new contractors, vendors and suppliers of services and nurtures current relationships.
Microsoft office & Excel Knowledge is required
Reliable transportation to travel from site to site within your region
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
