Job Description : Location: Reno, NV
Type: Full-Time
A Solar Installer must be a problem solver and an action-oriented thinker who is used to working with their hands and take pride in their work. They will spend 70-90% of their day working on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions. This position requires availability of 40-45 hours a week, M-F. Residential solar installation, roofing, or general construction experience is preferred. The most important feature of a good solar installer is being someone who is willing to learn and isn’t afraid of hard work. We are looking for the best and most motivated people who want to make a difference. We care about all our employees and constantly seek to maintain a healthy work/life balance.
PAY SCALE AND BENEFITS
$50-60K per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Follow layout plans and perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
Support the Crew Lead and Electrician to assure the successful completion of the solar system
Provide a world-class customer experience
Document completion of quality installation
Work in a safe manner at all times

Qualifications:

Prior residential solar installation experience preferred but not required
Prior roofing/roofer experience or residential construction preferred but not required
Must be able to consistently carry up to 60 pounds
Must be comfortable working with heights

Must be able to climb ladder, stairs, work on rooftops, and work on feet for long periods of time
Must have a reliable means of transportation
