Job Description : Join the Adventure! Lawson Adventure Park & Resort is accepting applications for ATV Guides. If you love driving through the mountains, scenic views, and Colorado adventure this is the place for you!
Description:
We run 1, 2, 3, and 4 hour ATV tours! There are several trails we use, but most frequently the one closest to our park. Guests are shuttled in a van to the drop off point and guides always lead in the first vehicle. Guests are given safety instructions and knowledge of vehicle operation.
Then guests follow the guide up the weaving trail into the mountains, which feature some incredible views!
We have 4 start times for ATV trips per day and can usually take between 2 to 32 guests per trip. Our 3 and 4 hour tour options also include going on extended trails and the 4 hour option also includes snack or a lunch.
ATV season is almost year round, typically running from the beginning of May to November or even December.
We will be hosting ATV training from June 6-12th and payment will need to be submitted for training before sessions begin.
Responsibilities include:
Guiding groups of guests up a mountain trail for varying lengths of time
Sharing information on some brief local history
Following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Trained on ATV driving
Ensure guests enjoy their time
Requirements:
Must have a Valid Driver’s License
Training must be completed
Problem solving skills
Capable of positive guest interaction, engaging in conversation, making the attractions fun for everyone involved
Naturally outgoing and positive attitude
Must not be afraid of heights as some of the tours reach high elevations
CPR certification (Must acquire if hired uncertified)
Compensation:
Some lodging options might be available for guides
You will be paid per trip/outing
