Compensation and Benefits include: Base Salary ($55,000 – $60,000/year depending on experience) and eligibility for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Plan, Life Insurance Coverage, Disability Benefits, Tuition Assistance Program, PTO.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
CBS4 is looking for an experienced Multi-Media Journalist/Sports Producer. The candidate will coordinate with the sports anchors to produce shows and edit show. There is the opportunity to report as an MMJ for candidates with reporting experience and occasionally fill-in anchor. We are looking for a creative journalist who is a good storyteller.

The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, have strong communication skills and be proficient with non-linear editing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Produce sportscast
Write web stories, podcasts and provide digital content for our website and streaming platform
In addition to great writing skills a solid photography ability is a bonus
Assist with the creation and production of high energy and innovative sports content
Other duties assigned by Manager
REQUIRED

Must have a valid license and good driving record

PREFERRED

Bachelor Degree in Journalism
