Position : Assistant Manager – Content Development

Job Description : A Typical Week In The Life Of An Assistant Manager – Content Development- Working with the curriculum team on developing content for different modules of our online/offline educational workshops, events and initiatives. You will be trained for this role but need to have basic proficiency in areas of content development, presentation development on PPT and copywriting. You must also have good research skills.- Conducting training sessions of our various educational programmes for different student groups. You will be trained to be a trainer. Everyone in SkillSphere’s core team and management team is a trainer and conducts workshops.You will be stationed in Mumbai and will be responsible for conducting our workshops in different schools spread across Mumbai. You will also have to travel for workshops in different parts of the country on a case-to-case basis. Apart from this, a few online workshops will take place from time to time which you have to conduct.You will be completely trained to be a trainer.- Conceptualizing, planning and implementing various innovative knowledge-oriented events (online and offline), and managing them with the SkillSphere core team. This is on a case to case basis.- Working with SkillSphere Education’s core team on planning and strategization on a weekly basis. – Other areas of work at a cross-functional level as and when required What Should You Be Good At? – Researching and reading. You must keep yourself updated about the world and major events via various available media (newspapers, internet etc.). If you aren’t interested in this, then this job is not a fit for you.- Writing, copywriting, and literary skills. You must be adept at writing grammatically correct English. No content developer can do justice to their job without this- Proof reading and editing skills. You will be monitoring and modifying a lot of content worked on by the rest of your team.- Content conceptualization, development, and management. Being creative is imperative.- Presentation making on PPT- Public speaking, communication and interpersonal skills.- Seeing the bigger picture. If you are going to be a part of the core team, you need to have a vision for yourself and align it with that of the company. We aren’t looking for someone interested in a 9 to 5 job only!- You must be passionate about the field of education and teaching students: We are looking for people who are motivated about influencing social change through skill set developmentHow Do We Assess Work? SkillSphere Education follows a system which monitors task completion by all employees as per pre-decided timelines on a weekly basis. We value efficacy and efficiency over everything else. In case you get selected for this position, client and student feedback about your performances as a trainer; and the quality of content developed and managed, are important aspects that will be assessed on a weekly basis.Additionally, since you are a part of the management team, we shall continuously work on training you in various aspects related to leadership. Your ability to manage your team and optimize their efficiency is very important.Where Will You Be Working From? You will be based out of Mumbai. You will be stationed at one of SkillSphere’s office or work from home on a daily basis.What Can You Expect Your Starting Salary to Be? We prefer making expectations of all potential applicants clear at the very inception. Based on your performance in the recruitment process, your suitability for the position will be assessed. If selected, then your starting salary can vary between ₹ 29000/- and ₹ 34000/- per month (₹ 348000 to ₹ 408000/- per annum apart from other benefits and allowances) dependent upon various factors and parameters including experience and qualifications.
