Job Description : Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar, relevant fieldPrevious working experience as a Public Relations Specialist/Executive for at least 2 yearsA total of 2-4 years of experience in content writing *Your responsibilities**Content WritingCreating content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company websiteConducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original contentAssisting the digital marketing team in developing content for advertising campaignsProofreading content for errors and inconsistenciesEditing and polishing existing content to improve readabilityConducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company websiteCreating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audienceIdentifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company’s current content**PR and MediaPlan and implement relevant media appearances for the organization including in print publications and interviews in relevant ed-tech newspapers and other publicationsBuild and maintain relationships with journalists and influencersPlan and carry out press releases for all organizational events, product releases, and announcementsPlan and implement public relations strategies and activitiesMeasure performance of each activity and event; produce reports on each PR campaignUse different channels to optimise campaign’s reach and successArrange and coordinate interviews as well as public-speaking opportunities for senior leadershipStay up to date with PR and industry trends and best practices**Sporadic travel is required to tier-2, tier-3 schools and institutions to understand how organization products are being used by the target audience**Mandatory skills: What you should haveExcellent writing and editing skillsExcellent communication skillsProven content writing experienceVery good working knowledge of Google Drive, Google DocsA portfolio of published articles*Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentBenefits:Health insuranceProvident FundSchedule:Day shiftSupplemental Pay:Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Public relations and content writer: 3 years (Preferred)total work: 5 years (Preferred)Language:Hindi, Kannada, Tamil (Preferred)English (Preferred)Willingness to travel:50% (Preferred)
