Job Description : Position Summary:
Executive couple with a young family and a home in Montecito, CA would like to hire an experienced and creative Private Chef who can prepare top-quality and healthy meals while assuming full control of their kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality and healthy meals
Serve meals, including for small dinner parties (up to 6) and larger family-style meals
Assume full responsibility for the operation, cleanliness, and provisioning of the kitchen
Monitor the wine cellar; stock and maintain pantries and refrigerators
Utilize the property’s organic garden for fresh ingredients
Assist with general household errands and responsibilities as needed
Visit the family’s Beverly Hills home once to twice a month on weekends to prepare meals
Ability to travel to Martha’s Vineyard for the summers a plus; accommodations provided

Qualifications:
Prior experience working as a private chef in a fine home needed with strong culinary and hospitality skills.

Schedule:
Generally a five-day work week, including Saturdays and Sundays, with two consecutive weekdays off.

Compensation:
$115,000 to $140,000 offered, depending on experience and qualifications, with benefits.
