Job Description : ABOUT THE COMPANY
Imperial Organic Yeast (IOY) is a yeast production laboratory with locations in Portland, OR and Philadelphia, PA. We provide both home brewers and commercial brewers with a wide variety of high quality yeasts and industry-leading customer service and support.

POSITION DETAILS
Imperial Yeast is looking to add an experienced and motivated member to our sales team. This position will be fully remote, based in California. This position is full time and reports directly to our Sales Manager. Weekly schedules vary and weekend work will be required.
*Territory (area of focus): California with some time spent in Arizona. We do ask that you attend events and assist the rest of the sales team where needed.

JOB DUTIES
Outside Sales
Consultative approach to sales. Understand and meet the needs of our current and potential commercial brewing customers and our retail shop accounts
3+ days per week in the field and Multi Day Trips
Travel on weekends & evenings
Build relationships: establish new connections and work to deepen current relationships
Meet and exceed established sales goals with current and potential customers
Visit breweries & retail home brewing shops
Representation at Industry events
Travel to local and remote events
Represent Imperial in trade show booth and sponsored parties/events
Attend educational workshops and seminars
Customer service work as needed
Correct and efficient communication with customers, sales team and other departments
Inside sales
Execute daily communication with current and potential customers
Identify areas of opportunity
Collaborate with sales manager & sales team to continually evolve communication
Mandatory fun
REQUIRED SKILLS
3+ years sales experience
Clean driving record & valid license
Experience using a CRM is a plus
Adaptability and willingness to pivot and be flexible
Friendly and helpful attitude
Ability to work remote/independently and be a self starter
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Team player
Quick learner and desire to learn more about the beer industry and yeast in particular
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail and Google Drive
Problem solver
Ability to follow directions
COMPENSATION
$65,000-75,000 depending on experience
PTO: 2 weeks paid time off (80 hours to start) and 10 paid holidays.
