Position : Dispatch Operations Manager
Job Description : As an operations manager, you will be working with dispatchers and carriers alike. You will be tasked with helping to expand our driver base and ensure key metrics and goals are achieved. You will manage the dispatch software and provide input on its use and reporting to enhance the operation. While in a fast paced, energetic environment, you will implement your solution while handling the day-to-day issues presented in the transportation industry.This role includes operations and sales responsibility for growing a new division of our company, Elite Driver Systems.Responsibilities: Execute freight planning for Elite drivers.Manage, service, and grow current customer relationships.Recruit new drivers, problem solve, and manage issues.Manage dispatch team and their capacityAssist in building dispatch service, carrier base, and dispatching loadsBenefits: We offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, paid holidays and vacation, disability insurance, life insurance, 401K, and the opportunity to prosper in a growing company.RequirementsVersed in transportation and logisticsBasic knowledge of truckload, flatbed, straight truck and specialized freightDriven, Enthusiastic and highly motivatedStrong communication skillsMust be punctual and reliableAbility to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent resultsStrong ability to negotiate, persuade, motivate, and influence othersTeam orientatedAbility to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectivelyExcellent systems knowledge: MS Office and InternetAt least 2 year experience is the transportation industryPreferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience2 years minimum in transportation operationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
