Job Description : ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guidance and support to Application Developers
Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning
Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations
Write and deploy patches, upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades
Worked in high scale architecture handling high transactional velocity with high concurrency
Build and maintain a robust data engineering process to develop and implement self-serve data and

tools for Ease buzz data scientists
Process work accurately and in a timely manner
Always pay attention to detail
Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements
Collate, prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use
Find opportunities to create, automate and scale repeatable analyses or build self-service tools for

business users
Execute data engineering projects ranging from small to large either individually or as part of a project

team
Ensure project delivery within timelines and budget requirements
Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related information technology field
4 years of experience with database development and Architecture design
Easily design and implement a business process into functional and efficient code
Implement and manage company data management practices and policies
Min 2 years of experience in administering, managing and tuning databases
Min 3 years of experience with Postgres and Redshift
Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts
Good understand database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance
Expertise in SQL and willing to learn data engineering aspect.
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

Great interpersonal and communication skills
