Job Description : About the Role
This position reports to the Director of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Data with a dotted line to the Vice President of Apparel Merchandising. As a Data Entry Associate for the Apparel Product team, you will take ownership of product data which includes, but is not limited to; building and maintaining core product information within Ariat’s Centric PLM system, ownership of accurate, complete, and timely product data, and communication with downstream partners. The Data Entry Associate, Apparel Product must know basic apparel product terminologies, demonstrate team values and practices by maintaining effective collaborative relationships, take pride in the company and brand, provide a high level of service to multiple constituencies, and embrace the dynamics of Ariat’s ever-changing business.
Responsibilities

Abide by Data Governance rules to ensure data entered correctly corresponds to the attribute definition
Interpretate line plan and product creation information to enter complete and accurate data in the Centric PLM system within critical deadlines
Participate in all designated product review meetings to gather pertinent data regarding the product for data entry
Own product data with partnership from the Product Managers and other resource partners
Serve as the key contact for business partners to communicate relevant product information
Communicate with Marketing partners ensuring accurate workbook data handoff including run order of the product line
Extract Price List information from Centric PLM and run audit reports for accuracy against Ariat’s ERP system. Work with the material management teams to update any inconsistencies
Identify issues and opportunities; elevate for solutions to ensure high data accuracy
Establish working relationship with Product Data Steward partner when new data is needed to be added to Centric PLM to properly define product characteristics
Understand and monitor business adherence to data policies, standards, and procedures as defined by Data Governance.
Collaborate with business areas to gain an understanding of issues and make recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Understanding of apparel product terminologies required
Minimum 1-year relevant work experience in a data management or product creation role
Demonstrated experience with data entry
Proficiency with MS Excel at an intermediate level including VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, and formulas
Experience with Centric PLM preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to build collaborative relationships
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong attention to detail and process orientation

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
